The menu here is a celebration of local flavors, featuring an inviting fixed-selection style that champions quality and tradition over choice. Guests delight in an abundant parade of dishes that showcase the region’s best ingredients. Noteworthy highlights include an exceptional array of salami – each slice bursting with rich, savory notes – and a wonderfully original presentation of the classic bagna cauda, whose deep, garlicky warmth penetrates each bite with comforting intensity.

Truffle lovers will find particular joy in the carne cruda, a finely prepared raw meat dish generously infused with this prized regional treasure, creating a symphony of earthy and decadent flavors. The crespelle alle noci and agnolotti bathed in a luscious dark sauce are other standout components, embodying the soulful heart of Piedmontese pasta traditions but interpreted with a distinct originality that excites the palate.

While some have noted that the café does not quite match the high standard set by the other courses, this minor detail hardly diminishes the joy of the meal. On Sundays, the generous fixed menu encourages guests to savor every dish and even opt for seconds, indulging in a culinary journey that feels like a genuine celebration of Piedmontese culture. Whether you drop by for a spontaneous lunch or plan a special evening, Trattoria Val Ceronda stands as an essential passage into Piemonte’s gastronomic soul.

A traditionally "piemontese" feast. Good quality ingredients and well executed recipes which draw from the rich culinary tradition of the region but reinterpret it with originality. Great sampling of salami, an original presentation of the traditional "bagna cauda", generous use of truffle to flavour the "carne cruda", crespelle alle noci and agnolotti in a rich dark sauce were my favourite first, fassone for second was delicious, but by then I was so full... I cannot comment on price as I was guest, but I would assume not at all pricey by English standards. Facilities at traditionally modest. The place is totally out of tourist routes in an unassuming hilltown. To those who like a road trip to venture into the "real" and value good food it is worth a stop. Pretty valleys nearby, parco di Venaria on the doorstep, Royal palace of Venaria twenty minutes away. A drive trough the mountains takes to Avigliana lake and the Sagra di San Michele. Start planning that roadtrip.

Senza menù, si mangia quello che propongono. Cibo in abbondanza molto tradizionale e buono.

Splendida serata. Locale molto bello, servizio veloce e cortese. Cibo ottimo, porzioni abbondanti. Ci siamo sentiti davvero a nostro agio.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Prezzo fisso 13€.
